Lots of opportunity but at a cost
Mar 3, 2023 - Software EngineerRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
If you like a challenge, enjoy context switching, and being responsible for large custom code bases lacking documentation, this would be a great place for an eager developer to help maintain and rebuild the team, context and processes.
Cons
The team has always been understaffed so the departures over the recent past have been terrible for moral and confidence. The company runs on custom tech so it is critical for success that engineering is well staffed and empowered to do a good job. Engineers are feeling this stress daily and have communicated this only to see people leave at a faster rate than new people can be hired and trained.
- Current Employee, more than 3 years★★★★★
Pros
The people are great. I feel like I am learning each day.
Cons
I do not have any cons.
- Current Employee★★★★★
Pros
There is generous PTO. Health benefits, 401k (no match).
Cons
Promises to move forward aren't kept. Black out dates during peak seasons are long. Lacks good work culture.
- Former Employee, more than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
Easy job to learn if they take the time to teach you. For the most part, they like to have fun.
Cons
Poor management. No value to moving forward. A promotion in the department would be to a lead role which tends to be a dead end. Any move to another department, regardless of difficulty, is considered a lateral move with no extra benefits. Don't ask for raises because they'll try and find reasons as to why you don't deserve them.

Be Careful
Aug 11, 2021 - Customer Service Associate in Louisville, KYRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
They do offer decent health insurance benefits. The PTO time is very generous, 3 weeks for 1-3 years. They offer some work-from-home benefits and flexible scheduling.
Cons
No Parental leave when you have a child for neither mom nor dad. They have been known to lay people off with little to no notice. There isn't a clear path forward for most positions since the company is still in startup mode.

Growing Company

Don’t work here
Oct 15, 2021 - Quality Control in Louisville, KYRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Easy work sometimes over time
Cons
Will let you go without warning … FALSE advertising jobs on job indeed saying either part time or full time never did it state you were seasonal! Also falsely telling people they are gonna get a sign on bonus and don’t get it !!

Pros
Ability to move up, if you prove Yourself! Small company with ability to implement processes and share ideas. Overall Would recommend
Cons
There is little transparency between upper management and employees. There is clearly a divide within some departments and I think that causes the company culture to be a hit or miss at times. They do not pay well.
- Current Employee, more than 3 years★★★★★
Pros
One of the best places to work. This is a place where they welcome internal growth and value employee's opinions.
Cons
General start up growing pains.
