    Pros

Large well known brands as clients

    Cons

They are a little behind the times in technology resources for employees

    Advice to Management

They should be more aware that creative should lead the charge beginning to end in RFP and client pitch design.

    Pros

Great people, great clients, a lot of young executives. Opportunity to travel and learn a lot. The company calls are very entertaining.

    Cons

It's a bit of every man for himself. A lot of great people come in and leave while a lot of others stick around because they're too scared to leave the job they've held since graduating college.

    Advice to Management

Update your technology and figure out an onboarding process that won't leave so many great people fighting to figure out the "Genesco way".

I have been working at Genesco Sports Enterprises full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great access to many high profile events and properties. There is opportunity to work with some great brands and clients

    Cons

Very young office with little/no direction from upper management. Travel expectations are unrealistic if you have a family.

    Advice to Management

Treat the divisions of the company equally with giving credit where credit it due. Improve accounting department because it's very antiquated.

I worked at Genesco Sports Enterprises full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great place to learn Sports Sponsorship marketing and Client focused account management. A very passionate team of young professionals with a handful of experienced industry insiders. Access to the highest levels of the leagues, clients and industry. Lots of experience and knowledge. A small company that provides the opportunity to grow and shine

    Cons

There is a strong emphasis on the entrepreneurial spirit, with little mentoring. HR is pretty much no existent. It is possible but can be tough to move up. Very passionate CEO

I have been working at Genesco Sports Enterprises full-time

    Pros

Exciting industry and great clients make the work enjoyable to do. There are opportunities to attend certain high-profile events.

    Cons

Management is severely lacking. Non-existent HR department. There is no training involved and feedback is minimal. 10 vacation/sick/personal days per year....yes they all come from the same account. No real room for upward movement. Culture can be clique-y at times.

    Advice to Management

Establish a 2-way feedback system. This begins with a functioning HR department.
