I have been working at Genoa full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

I love working for Genoa. All of the site managers (PICs) and technicians really care about their patients and provide amazing customer service, due to the company culture. Genoa puts the patients first. It's about quality, not quantity. Working Monday through Friday, 8-5 in pharmacy also doesn't hurt. The company is growing incredibly fast and there are many opportunities for growth within the company.

    Cons

The company is growing a bit faster than it can keep up with. New processes are rolled out without proper vetting at times.

    Advice to Management

Continue to value your hard working employees and promote from within. These employees are your greatest asset. Keep the long standing Genoa culture of working hard, but still making time to have fun.

I have been working at Genoa full-time

    Pros

    Mission. Co-workers. Brand.

    Compassionate. Reasonable. Innovative.

    Cons

Email volume. ADP reporting requirements. Size, which others might list as a pro.

    Advice to Management

Management proactively solicited advice and is starting to address all other concerns so it wouldn't be fair to list any advice here without giving Management a chance to live up to its word.

I worked at Genoa full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Small Team, good working relationship with Clinic staff, 8:30-5 Mon-Fri w lunch break was great, depending on location, tech help adequate.

    Cons

Too much corporate meddling especially since merger, Corp pharmacy "techs" from Washington state trying to tell pharmacists in another state how to run their business, business getting too large, IT support always needed. Always chasing inventory and corporately not the best for personalized patient care - becoming CVS/Walgreens - more for less

    Advice to Management

Keep the good people you have by staying more out of the way, Corporate trainers are a joke - worthless

    Pros

This company is one high class firm. They actually care about their employees and best of all provide the most caring services to behavioral health clients I have ever seen. They provide a variety of services to make the customers lives easier and ensure medication compliance.

    Cons

Long distance driving with no compensation, since my "home" is Johnstown, PA. I drive 1.5hr from south of PGH,PA
