I worked at Genpact Mortgage full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Absolutely nothing for the exception of a game room that was available in another building close by.

    Cons

Genpact Mortgage of Irvine was a complete and utter disaster. The leaders had no sense of direction and didn't know the first thing about managing. Genpact was a place with massive turnover and eventually the division in Irvine completely folded with the exception of one department. This place seemed to recruit some of its employees by picking them off the streets. Sexual abuse went rampant and there was no accountability for it. HR did nothing to prevent the abuse that went on there. Managers seemed to manage by rumor clearly taking the side of whoever could badmouth the most of other employees. Many opportunities for growth were missed due to the poor management. Getting ahead at Genpact meant stabbing your co-workers in the back and the completely clueless managers going along with it. I personally had a manager and a lead that responded about half the time you emailed them. Working in IT here was a disaster due to there being no support from my lead and manager. I also worked alongside an individual who was very insecure about his skills and his position. Both he and management are a prime example of why this place went under. I'm glad this place has almost folded. What a joke of a place to work.

I have been working at Genpact Mortgage full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Location is convenient near to major high ways so you can avoid traffic jams if you are ruining late. That’s pretty much it.

    Cons

It is the most unprofessional and ghetto environment. Management is never there and will do all they can to block your advancement. They think they know everything and they honestly do not. It’s loud people cussing out loud when Luther employees are talking to borrowers on the phone. No diversity at all

I have been working at Genpact Mortgage full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Great working environment, training provided

    Cons

Company not stable for long term employment. When they lose a sub contract you are laid off rather than finding an additional position

I have been working at Genpact Mortgage full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The base pay and commission structure used to be good, they aren't any longer.

    Cons

Honestly, Genpact is not the main problem, although they do hire some questionable employees. Genpact is the contractor, they have no say in policy or process on the account I work on. No way to improve the process no matter how ineffectual it is. If you want to process loans and have 12 people telling you what to do and what you've done wrong (while simultaneously not helping the loan forward in any way shape or form) then look no further, you've found your dream job.

  6. "If you are lazy, an underachiever, and love drama. This is the best place to work at."

I worked at Genpact Mortgage full-time

    Pros

Job security. If you are lazy, never on time, no desire to hit your goal every month, and gossip. Then this is the place for you to become the best underachiever ever. Example: 90% of the processors never hit goal and spend their days either in HR complaining that their manager actually expects them to work.

    Cons

Everything under the sun. Now i only say this for managers, if you plan on being a processor then again this is the best place for people with no goals and no work ethic. But if you decide to be a manager then do not waste your time. The moment you actually start to manage and hold people accountable and your not apart of the "gossip queens" then they will do anything and everything to get you fired. Then you have to deal with the fact that you have zero support and the site director is about as helpful as a dead snail . Bottom line, stay away.

I worked at Genpact Mortgage full-time

    Pros

Working remote was the ONLY pro

    Cons

Management, HR, Legal, payroll/Finance Dept have got to be the most incompetent departments. From a business stand point, I would NOT work with Genpact because they will provide the worst customer service. From an employee stand point, you will not get the support you need from management. You will have to beg to get the compensation that is due to you, and your separation agreement forms will not be accurate, so carefully review and/or be prepared to contact your state Dept. of Labor
