I worked at Genpact Mortgage full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It was a great company with full benefits and team members.

    Cons

You have to cover this time from 7 a.m - 9 p.m daily

I have been working at Genpact Mortgage full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Location is convenient near to major high ways so you can avoid traffic jams if you are ruining late. That’s pretty much it.

    Cons

It is the most unprofessional and ghetto environment. Management is never there and will do all they can to block your advancement. They think they know everything and they honestly do not. It’s loud people cussing out loud when Luther employees are talking to borrowers on the phone. No diversity at all

    Advice to Management

Learn your jobs and show up to work

I have been working at Genpact Mortgage full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Great working environment, training provided

    Cons

Company not stable for long term employment. When they lose a sub contract you are laid off rather than finding an additional position

    Advice to Management

Be more loyal top your employees and try to find suitable positions

I have been working at Genpact Mortgage full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The base pay and commission structure used to be good, they aren't any longer.

    Cons

Honestly, Genpact is not the main problem, although they do hire some questionable employees. Genpact is the contractor, they have no say in policy or process on the account I work on. No way to improve the process no matter how ineffectual it is.
If you want to process loans and have 12 people telling you what to do and what you've done wrong (while simultaneously not helping the loan forward in any way shape or form) then look no further, you've found your dream job.

    Advice to Management

Before accepting future contracts, review the outsourcing company's process and decide if you being hired to improve their process or just operate to their standards.

I worked at Genpact Mortgage full-time

    Pros

Job security. If you are lazy, never on time, no desire to hit your goal every month, and gossip. Then this is the place for you to become the best underachiever ever. Example: 90% of the processors never hit goal and spend their days either in HR complaining that their manager actually expects them to work.

    Cons

Everything under the sun. Now i only say this for managers, if you plan on being a processor then again this is the best place for people with no goals and no work ethic. But if you decide to be a manager then do not waste your time. The moment you actually start to manage and hold people accountable and your not apart of the "gossip queens" then they will do anything and everything to get you fired. Then you have to deal with the fact that you have zero support and the site director is about as helpful as a dead snail . Bottom line, stay away.

    Advice to Management

Advise all the processors who actually want to work and make money to quit and apply at loandepot.

I worked at Genpact Mortgage full-time

    Pros

Working remote was the ONLY pro

    Cons

Management, HR, Legal, payroll/Finance Dept have got to be the most incompetent departments. From a business stand point, I would NOT work with Genpact because they will provide the worst customer service. From an employee stand point, you will not get the support you need from management. You will have to beg to get the compensation that is due to you, and your separation agreement forms will not be accurate, so carefully review and/or be prepared to contact your state Dept. of Labor

    Pros

    Great benefits for their employees

    Cons

Horrible management from the top down. Worse than high school drama. They employ incompetent people...

    Advice to Management

Grow up. It's not high school anymore. Stop being petty and start focusing on borrowers needs

I worked at Genpact Mortgage full-time

    Pros

Great benefits, great for analytics people. known for Six Sigma & Lean Six Sigma analysis

    Cons

Management in Calfornia & 1 otherAnalyst. Met him 2 times. 4 months working 3 of the accounts no vacation

    Advice to Management

Its kind of difficult to get everything perfect for all 3 accounts which I am working 9-10 hours a day to manage them, am the only person to see the data besides management of the stakeholders themselves (who all approved, always). Learn how to fill a position. You could have used 2 more people at least. And come to find out, you perfectionist managed to hire 3 more!!!! Wow, what a joke and complete waste of time. Could have at least called and admitted you were in the wrong because you were unaware of how unaware your guy in Cali was when it came to being responsible for All deliverables in the Texas location as well. With 2 and a half total employees. Then take it out of the work horse. SMH
