I worked at Genpact Mortgage full-time

    Pros

Remote position- ability to work from home

    Cons

Favortism - Loans are cherry pick while assigned.
    The managers are very unprofessional.
Managers aren't available to assist their underwriters until loans have been escalated.
They're work expectations have been are ridiculous at times.
Managers kill the morale of their team. Most, feedback is usually negative.

    Advice to Management

Hire managers, that want to make a difference, that will provide support & positive feedback to their employees.
Managers that will lead by example.

I worked at Genpact Mortgage full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Great benefits for their employees

    Cons

Horrible management from the top down. Worse than high school drama. They employ incompetent people...

    Advice to Management

Grow up. It's not high school anymore. Stop being petty and start focusing on borrowers needs

I worked at Genpact Mortgage full-time

    Pros

Great benefits, great for analytics people. known for Six Sigma & Lean Six Sigma analysis

    Cons

Management in Calfornia & 1 otherAnalyst. Met him 2 times. 4 months working 3 of the accounts no vacation

    Advice to Management

Its kind of difficult to get everything perfect for all 3 accounts which I am working 9-10 hours a day to manage them, am the only person to see the data besides management of the stakeholders themselves (who all approved, always). Learn how to fill a position. You could have used 2 more people at least. And come to find out, you perfectionist managed to hire 3 more!!!! Wow, what a joke and complete waste of time. Could have at least called and admitted you were in the wrong because you were unaware of how unaware your guy in Cali was when it came to being responsible for All deliverables in the Texas location as well. With 2 and a half total employees. Then take it out of the work horse. SMH

I worked at Genpact Mortgage full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Strong health benefits
    Tremendous potential
Terrific clients (surprising this place attracts them)
    Strong UW Management
    Easy files to UW
    Promotes life balance
Even you have ever been a first round RIF draft pick this place is for you. If not, get out/stay away.
Provided me a pool of approximately 10 strong employees to pick from when I have more openings (not being vindictive to Genpact but these folks deserve MUCH better.

    Cons

The majority of people I worked with on the account I was assigned most likely can't hold a job anywhere else. HR caters to the lowest denominator and does not promote a reasonable environment for strong managers with proven track records to excel in. No energy/commitment to excel for their clients or their employees

    Advice to Management

Quit. You are in over your heads.

    Pros

If you are not a male and Indian, none. Don't accept the job they are a horrible company.

    Cons

    Non inclusive environment
HR and Management have zero intergrity and are flat our liars
    Reverse Descrimination
Crappy Management no communication with lower end employees
HR insists you take classes which is fine but they are a fulltime job in themselves
The worst company I ever worked for in 25 years.
    Don't do it.

    Advice to Management

Get some intergrity. Stop the back stabbing of employees. You are all in need of management training 101.

I have been working at Genpact Mortgage full-time

    Pros

Pay was pretty good and good location

    Cons

I was offered a job at Genpact Mortgage and they they asked me to sign a medical release form, copy of high school Diploma or transcript and also since they could not verify my previous job they wanted a copy of my W-2. I have worked for larger companies and have never been asked this. This is not a company I want to work for.
