I worked at Genpact Pharmalink full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good and relax working environment, very employee friendly culture, additional benefits t

    Cons

Hire very skilled people, with no transparency about their role and do not know how to best use their talent. Also, there are few people who are dear to management, other people are just resources and never given platform to show their decision. Some time less skilled manager smash competent team member just because of insecurity.

    Advice to Management

Should give equal platform to all employees.

The company was moving towards bringing on all contracted workers as full-time employees. The benefits were decent with a matched 401k.

The pay was low compared with industry standards.

I worked at Genpact Pharmalink full-time

    Pros

I don't have one good word to say.

    Cons

Promises are many, delivery is absent. The hiring team will push you to lower your hourly rate, deliver quality work on an expedited basis with NO extra compensation and after the work is completed the fun begins. You have to employ a Genpact email to report hours- mind you, this requires TRAINING (really????) and can take a number of days. Invoicing and getting paid is the ultimate insult- you will eventually be routed to a team of 'I don't know' guys that are all in India. I especially enjoy being told over and over- the money will be in your account today, tomorrow at the latest and magically months go by and you don't see the money. Everyone passes the emails to others, no phone calls are returned, and time just moves along. If they were the last company on earth, I would not work for them again. No way. How the hell do you have team in India paying me in the US????

    Advice to Management

Pretty soon you won't be able to get any freelancers/contractors/consultants- reputation is everything.

I worked at Genpact Pharmalink full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It's hard to think of positives when companies are dishonest and untrustworthy. CEO had a very bad temper back in 2012 and was very unpredictable in his demeanor. .

    Cons

Bonus paid by clients for the consultants for staying on projects until completion goes to management / leadership. Employees are not treated fairly per their performance.

    Advice to Management

Management should focus and invest on their most valuable asset - their employees.

    Pros

    Free coffee, fruit and yogurt.

    Cons

Very unprofessional. Tiny office of 25 people who come and go and work from home too often. Go to supervisor seldom available. No notice when a project is ending.

    Advice to Management

Find out what's going on in the office and on projects. Get involved, and stop working from home.

    Pros

Since they want cheap labour...this company may sponsor your H1B.

    Cons

Low rate paid to employee while charging a high sum from client. This leads the client to expect the quality of work they paid to pharmalink. But little they know how much the employee gets paid.
