    Pros

Great company who supports their employees and is an advocate for advancement and promotes from within. This employer strives for greatness.

    Cons

While this company strives for employee satisfaction, there is pressure for high volume which can be difficult and looked at as unrealistic expectations which makes work/life balance nearly impossible.

    Advice to Management

Review the expectations for this role

    Pros

Good territory, great therapy staff, good communication between disciplines, pay is excellent.

    Cons

The documentation is overwhelming. I'm not new to homecare so it's part of the job , but this is just silly. I do not know how people with kids and family handle it.
The company just switched over to kindred' benefit package for 2016---benefits are "meh".

    Advice to Management

Hire more staff because the current staffing levels are not adequate to keep carrying these caseloads while meeting the documentation volume and deadlines

None. Doesn't really matter because the company doesn't exist anymore. Gobbled up by Kindred

    Cons

Upper management could care less about their employees. It was the worst work environment of my entire career.

I worked at Gentiva full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

PTO, benefits, company paid holidays, flexibility in shifts, the positive relationships built with fellow colleagues.

    Cons

Lack of respect and appreciation from management. No room for growth, favoritism, There are no raises. Horrible culture. Mission statement needs to be modified because there are many that don't live by it.

    Advice to Management

The Employee Service Center Director has a lack of respect for his team. He only shows appreciation by the same old lame pizza lunches. What about making ways for promotions and raises and stop hindering staff from wanting to grow or getting mad at employees if you see their resumes out on career networking sites. He's so eager to throw in staffs faces about what they did wrong before thanking them for doing something right. Management needs to learn how to treat their staff or you'll continue to lose top notch employees. Best of wishes to your business needs! KARMA!
