    Pros

    Recently went through a formally name change to Kindred at Home. Large organization with several business lines of service that offers a true continuum of care. Very financially stable.

    Cons

    Sometimes slow to make process changes which can cause frustrations. Large company which is very layered in management positions and

    Pros

    Friendly office staff, organized. Good orientation package, including going out on the job the first week. Autonomy. Pay is good if you can't meet expectations.

    Cons

    Salary approx $55,000 base, regardless of workload, which is $10,000 less than last 3 jobs, in home health.

    Advice to Management

    They are polite and helpful.

    Pros

    Helping patients with appointments from our clinicians. I worked with a great group of people. All of them were very helpful and ext remely eager to help our patients. I would say I enjoyed working there.

    Cons

    I would say that I didnt have anything negative to say about Gentiva. I have no cons while I was employed with them.

    Advice to Management

    I have no advice for the management. I thought the management did an excellent job. They were extremely helpful towards me. I enjoyed working there.

    Great company who supports their employees and is an advocate for advancement and promotes from within. This employer strives for greatness.

    Cons

    While this company strives for employee satisfaction, there is pressure for high volume which can be difficult and looked at as unrealistic expectations which makes work/life balance nearly impossible.

    Pros

    A lot of autonomy. Able to manage own schedule. 1 on 1 pt care. Rewarding relationships with pts and families and referal sources.

    Cons

    Lack of management follow through. Everything is always changing. Enduring another company buyout. Years with no raises. Worsening insurance and insurance company changes yearly. HR is very hard to reach and not local.

    Excellent local management and great team spirit in Kansas Operation

    Cons

    Bought by Kindred so very different atmosphere. Divided reporting for Kansas amongst many people in Louisville

    Restructure to avoid duplications and layers of management
