    Pros

    Recently went through a formally name change to Kindred at Home. Large organization with several business lines of service that offers a true continuum of care. Very financially stable.

    Cons

    Sometimes slow to make process changes which can cause frustrations. Large company which is very layered in management positions and

    The patients that they serve are the best reason to work for this company and the reason they stay in business.

    Cons

    New company culture is very different from Gentiva culture. New company is impersonal and disorganized. Poor communication. Have limited benefits.

    Pros

    Working for a noble and worthy service needed by many. Gentiva is an excellent provider of services.

    Cons

    Sales specialists are required to enroll certain number of patients on a monthly basis. Hospice should not be a commission based venture.

    Advice to Management

    Remove commission based standards such as length of stay. Establish policy to eliminate referral claims to encourage sales team coordination.

    Pros

    Friendly office staff, organized. Good orientation package, including going out on the job the first week. Autonomy. Pay is good if you can't meet expectations.

    Cons

    Salary approx $55,000 base, regardless of workload, which is $10,000 less than last 3 jobs, in home health.

    Advice to Management

    They are polite and helpful.

    Pros

    Flexibility,friendly ,supportive co workers, excellent management team. Staff members acknowledged for their work and letters of appreciation from pt's and family were read during the weekly staff meeting.

    Cons

    Paperwork ,which comes with the territory, sometimes long days because of staffing issues.

    Continue to listen to your staff
