    Pros

Excellent organization for people with experience less than 10 years, ample opportunity to learn and grow technically. If somebody wants to grow in PLM this is the organization

    Cons

No growth for people with more than 10 years experience as opportunity are less. Salary is not at par with industry for senior people.

    Advice to Management

Employees is the strength for any IT company. Salary, Job Satisfaction and Job Security are lacking for senior employees. Need to address these issues

I worked at Geometric (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Nothing special.0 deductible Medical insurance.

    Cons

    Low salary, less growth opportunity.

    Advice to Management

Did the right thing by selling the company to HCL.

I have been working at Geometric full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    There is very little micromanagement

    Cons

Its obvious they do not care about you as an employee, but rather how much they can charge the client for you services. (ex. I am paid $20/hr and client is charged $35/hr)
You literally have no management, no one to inform you of policy changes/advice
No job security, when you hire on they will inform you of great security, but when the client doesn't have a need for you, they just dump you.

    Advice to Management

For the manufacturing contract employees in the US, figure out a way to become more personal and represent the employee. Listen to needs, questions, and give advice. BE A LEADER. Most of us employees just feel like a number on a spreadsheet.

I have been working at Geometric full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

For an Entry level engineer this place is good to start their career and gain experience.

    Cons

As you work at client location your communication with employer is limited and you feel you dont belong to anybody.
If you are lucky at clients location you will learn better because most of the projects have repetitive works. Time studies, validation, line balancing etc.,
Performance evaluation is poor because of lack of communication between client and employer.

    Advice to Management

I understand U have many things to take care of instead of taking care of ever single employee but Management should communicate well in advance with the client on educating the employee more on the project rather locking him down at one point.
