    Lack of leadership at the highest level.
    Inconsistency in how employees are treated.
    Lack of opportunity for advancement for some.

    Advice to Management

    Treat all employees with consistency. Communicate clearly and in multiple ways with employees. Sending one email with a directive does not constitute good communication.

    Pros

    Family oriented and relaxed atmosphere.

    Cons

    Terrible benefits cost is expensive and pay is poor. A good place to start, get experience and move on. Currently shortage of staff in all departments. The moral is low, no excitement about work. Managers are not around and they are power hungry. No dedication and staff support, managers talk down to employees.

    Advice to Management

    Go back to school and get communication skills updates. Stop talking down to employees. Offer more competitive salary and you will have happier staff.

    Pros

    Most of the people working there are very nice and polite.

    Cons

    Unfortunately not the place where you can grow as a professional. Opportunities are given to the same people regardless of how incompetent they might be.

    Pros

    Excellent Benefits. As a retiree, the benefits are much better than I could have found as an individual

    Cons

    Sometimes departments are moved around for political reasons. You never know if your department will be closed.
