I worked at Georgia Dome full-time

    Pros

I was able to see some of the most incredible shows and events in Atlanta.

    Cons

I never went home. The Dome staff are some of the most dedicated and they have to be because it is not abnormal to work weeks straight and long days at that.

    Advice to Management

Doing great with what you got.

I have been working at Georgia Dome full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The other employees are enjoyable, and no one really acts superior to anyone. It is also neat having access to the field. ECs are there for every big event, but the upside of that is being able to see and listen to parts of exciting shows.

    Cons

The overall morale among employees is pretty low. Management does very little to incentivize and/ or reward employees, which I think would be more important based on all of the extra/ weekend hours worked. Another downside is having to work so many weekends.

    Advice to Management

You need someone focused on improving morale, providing incentives, and acknowledging extra time and effort given by salaried employees. Campus-wide communication is poor and the organizational structure could be improved. Employees of the dome should have the ability to at least purchase tickets for events, as we are definitely never offered any unless it's a show that isn't selling AT ALL (and being offered tickets to these shows is just offensive.)

    Pros

    - As far as entry level positions this is one of the best within the Ga Dome.
    - Easy work
    - High chance of spotting a celebrity

    Cons

    - Long hours
    - Hardly an opportunity to move up.. basically if you want to you just have to apply to any open positions in the GA Dome on your own prerogative.
    - Far too much idle time while management says to "look busy"
    - Pay is stagnant / no raises
