Sadly, it was a mistake to come here

    Pros

I had such high hopes and was excited about starting the job with GP. There are really good people that work here. 401(k) match is really good (but I'll be leaving that behind when I leave....3 year vesting period) I've had good experiences when dealing with some of the corporate groups (MBM training...Awesome! OPEX group.....Awesome!)

    Cons

    Pros

The people, for the most part, are very friendly.

    Cons

The plant is old and hasn't been well kept. The union vs. management bickering is painful. Good leaders don't stay long. The hours are ridiculous. Half of the leadership team subscribes to the corporate leadership philosophy (MBM) and the other half could care less about it. Sends confusing message to employees. There's a lot to be desired about the culture.

    Easy job poor management.

    Pros

Decent pay and benefits for this area.

    Cons

Virtually no work/life balance Leadership doesn't address machine issues properly and then tries to blame employees for poor production numbers. Very bad senior plant management.
