      Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Georgia Regional Hospital (Atlanta) full-time for more than 2 years

      Pros

Laid back job...not too strenuous on your body majority of the time. Easy job for ppl who are full time students. Offer unlimited overtime

      Cons

Short breaks. Pay is different for each person so other who are doing the same job may make several thousand a year than you. Dangerous job at times. Understaffed. On call is ridiculousl

      Advice to Management

Hire more staff so full time employee won't have to cancel their plans and stay over on shifts. Change all breaks to 1 hour. Give adequate raises to full-time staff to match on coming staff pay rates

Former Employee - Program Assistant in Decatur, GA

I worked at Georgia Regional Hospital (Atlanta) full-time for more than 2 years

      Pros

Paid Holidays, and accrued paid time off

      Cons

Their are some practices that I did not agree with. I think the value of the employee could be stressed a little more

      Advice to Management

Make all of your staff feel good about what they do. If a staff member files a grievance make sure that that grievance is looked into. And also if a staff member wants to move to a different department due to tension make it an option. don't force an employee to stay in a situation that is not good for the department or the people involved.

I worked at Georgia Regional Hospital (Atlanta) full-time

          Pros

if you want to get a raw experience with mental health, then this is the place to work. This is a public mental health facility. If you can make it here you can make it anywhere.

          Cons

For the amount of work and dangerous conditions the pay should be a little bit better. Very dangerous job

          Advice to Management

Better pay. Nurses just sit around and chart all day. Nurse management is not too supportive. Need to have a better self defense plan.
