I have been working at Georgia State Government full-time

    Pros

    - People who genuinely care about their jobs are great to work with, but not everyone does. Sometimes (read often) people are there because they care more for themselves than they do the job or the people we serve.

    Cons

    - Nepotism runs rampant, and people who are both good at their jobs and dedicated are often overlooked.

    Advice to Management

Consider people based on their merits, on what they know not who they know.
