    Doesn't Recommend

I have been working at Georgia Tech full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Access to state of the facilities for research Potential for collaboration on research projects Most faculty are very good at what they do

    Cons

Graduate student pay is pathetic at best. You can't actually afford to live on campus with what they pay you. Once you pass your PhD proposal you get an additional $100...per year...awesome. While faculty drive around in expensive cars the students doing all the work make less than $18,000/year. Administration should just be mostly replaced. Almost impossible to get a hold of anyone for questions. Many administrative faculty are kind of rude and difficult to deal with.

    Advice to Management

Treat your graduate students better. We don't have to go to GaTech; there are plenty of graduate schools around the country with substantially better pay and better overall treatment.
