I have been working at Georgia Tech full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great work/life balance. Competitive or better pay than other public higher ed universities. Great people. Exciting and interesting work. Great benefits including 14h of vacation and 8 hours of sick leave accrue per month, annual education support leave allowance, great healthcare, great retirement benefits and pension for faculty.

    Cons

Some managers need better management training. Can take along time to see progress in areas that need change. Difficulty in getting consensus between offices. When multiple offices are involved, no one wants to own the football and carry it into the end zone.
