Pros
This is by far the most positive work environment I have ever been a part of. Unbelievable commitment to the success of each and every employee by the management and leadership teams. This job has improved every aspect of my life both personally and professionally.
Cons
Unfortunately, the building administration isn't progressive enough to allow all employees to bring pets to work - but that's not GetSales' fault.

Great co-workers, not so good leadership
Jun 1, 2023 - Team LeadRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The team lead position is allowed some freedoms. The co-workers tend to be great people. For a team lead, the PTO is decent.
Cons
Pay/pay transparency. They will frequently be as mysterious as possible when discussing the pay structure, confusing new employees and setting false expectations. They also expect you to work way harder than the pay reflects. If you hold moderately conservative views, RUN. It is not a hospitable work environment for those views. The culture and values the company is trying to force on you are very clear. Also when I told my boss I wanted to leave, a very clear animosity arose from her and several others for my last two weeks. I was spoken to very disrespectfully several times in those two weeks, I almost left early if not for my personal values.

A great entry-level sales job
Apr 13, 2023 - Inside Sales Representative in Austin, TXRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Your co-workers are other recent college grads. I made a lot of friends here. Management is experienced and very knowledgeable - a lot of them started as sales reps and have moved up within the company.
Cons
The role is entry-level. I learned a ton but eventually, I outgrew the role. I don't want to be a people manager so I moved on to a more difficult sale where I can earn more money. I definitely would not be prepared to take on this role without the experience I got here for 2ish years.

Decent Company, Poor Pay, Poor Ethics
Jan 25, 2023 - Inside Sales Representative in Austin, TXRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
It's an okay company culture - can be fun sometimes with their events The job itself is pretty easy day to day if you're motivated If you make friends its not too hard to come into work
Cons
The company changes its operating procedures, requirements, commission structure, pay, etc almost monthly. Nothing is consistent and the people above you will spring changes on you last minute. The Pay itself is not competitive in the Sales market, so you definitely finish a day of work and go "huh, I probably made the CEO thousands of dollars today and I'm leaving with my hourly wage" The Remote teams are treated very differently from the rest of the Sales teams - almost as if they made the remote teams and immediately regretted it but they make them too much money to fire
Continue readingWe appreciate your feedback. Happy to hear you enjoyed aspects of the company culture while you were here. We are very transparent about the pay from day 1. The base salary + commission expectations are explicitly written in the job description so that there are no surprises. Also, we are a growing business. We 3x our partnerships in 2022 and increased our headcount by over 80%. If you ever get the chance to work at a company that is experiencing hyper-growth again you'll see that changes are inevitable.

Pros
The culture is great and I really enjoy my coworkers. I also enjoy the pay transparency
Cons
Your commission is measured mostly against your coworkers which causes some toxic competition. They also frequently use data that doesn’t have a proper control to measure success in new systems as well as employee performance and as you can imagine it’s pretty unhelpful. You are also dealing with a good bit of micromanagement. 401k is not matched

Pros
Good work environment and people
Cons
No cons or any complains

Pros
Company culture - 11/10 Office - 11/10 Training - 9/10 Everyone, from entry-level reps to the CEO, is invested in each others' success. Recruiting really knows how to pick the right people. The more effort you put in, the more successful you can be. Plenty of opportunity and encouragement for growth. Competition is healthy and fun.
Cons
Be ready to talk; if you're not comfortable with making well over 100 calls a day, this may not be for you. The culture and environment and people might be great, but having about 40 meaningful conversations every day can become draining. You need to come in with 100% or else you will fall behind.

Incredible Growth Opportunity
Mar 10, 2023 - Inside Sales Manager in Austin, TXRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
GetSales is a fantastic place to work! Amazing coworkers, fun office space, engaging work.
Cons
Startups can be busy and difficult to navigate! It's part of the fun though.

Pros
Work atmosphere is great, good energy all around the office. Fun environment to work in each day, and I genuinely look forward to coming into the office. Employees from management down are willing to help new hires with any questions, and they encourage it. Good structure set up. Would recommend for anyone looking to transition into sales, or start a new job.
Cons
Not too many to list here. Maybe the only thing is that PTO isn't front loaded, but that's not really an issue, as the staff, team leaders and management seem accommodating in terms of any requests one might have.
