I have been working at Ghirardelli Associates full-time for more than a year

    Pros

It's relatively hands off from the owners/managers do you have a lot of freedom. Nice company vehicle and complete health/retirement benefits.

    Cons

Because there's little structure to the company, it's possible to fall through the cracks of management when your project finishes up and you need another project to keep you working. This leaves you in that awkward place without somewhere to go until they figure out somewhere to place you.

    Advice to Management

The management really needs to have a better grasp of where people are placed, how long they've been there and when they will need to be placed somewhere else to keep everyone working at all times.
