    paid weekly, some nice co-workers

    Cons

    When you work for Giant Eagle you are nothing more then a body. Stores are extremely understaffed, Starting pay is extremely low, Company does not offer any perks to it's Team Members

    Advice to Management

    Pay a better starting wage and you might be able to hire new employees. Offer perks to Team Members

    easy to apply, interview process was easy

    Cons

    Giant Eagle is a very cheap company. They don't like to pay employees anymore then they have to. They buy very cheap equipment. Very disorganized stores. Management is poorly trained. Bad moral among employees and always understaffed

    Advice to Management

    You get what you pay for. Buy better equipment and try staffing your stores

    Understaffed, Low Pay, Lazy work force, Policy are selectively enforced, No cahnce for advancement, Poor management

    Your company has many problems and it seems like no one cares anymore

    I have been working at Giant Eagle part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    It wasn't hard to get hired. It actually seemed like they were desperate and they would have hired anybody

    Cons

    no chance for advancement. Very low pay, only received 22 hrs a week

    Advice to Management

    Your employees have very negative attitudes and it causes a bad work environment

    No pros will be found working for Giant Eagle

    Cons

    Understaffed and moral is bad. Company no longer drug test applicants and they are hiring anybody. Pay is extremely low and no chance for advancement

    You better get control of the moral within the company or your not going to be around much longer

    Hard to find any at Giant Eagle

    Long working hours, Low pay, very arrogant upper management, Always understaffed,

    Word of mouth is ruining your company . You wonder why no one is applying at Giant Eagle. It's because Giant Eagle is a terrible company to work for.

    Makes you feel like your back in high school

    Job is for teenagers. Pay is very low. Store is understaffed

    You need to run a better company. Stores are understaffed because your starting pay is so low

    No pros. Mostly cons with this company

    Cons

    Starting pay is under $8.50hr. Stores are understaffed you have to do the jobs of two people. Company does not offer any perks to its employees who work for for the company. In the last few years the company has stopped caring.

    Advice to Management

    Offer perks to your employees. Most companies offer perks to attract new employees and Giant Eagle Does Nothing. It's like your afraid to spend money. Your employees are not happy.

    Can't think of any "Pros" with this company

    Cons

    Profit is the most important thing to this company. Low wages is second. For years Giant Eagle has always kept its wages low. They don't believe in paying its employees a good wage. Stores are always understaffed

    Advice to Management

    Pay more and hire more. Good working employees leave your company every day because your choose to pay sub par wages. Offer your employees perks to work for your company. Giving employee 10% off of generic products only is a JOKE..
