I worked at Gibson Oilfield Services (Less than a year)

    Pros

Pay was decent, home time was almost non existent.

    Cons

They didn't let you go home very often, and when they did it was only for a couple days, where other companies have a 14 on 7 off schedule.

    Advice to Management

Get a regular work schedule like Halliburton

    Pros

Good experience If your trying to get your foot in the door of the Oil & Gas Field work.

    Cons

The pay is total garbage for Oil & Gas work! You'd be better off on welfare and food stamps! Unless your a welder then your living like rock star. And raises, PFFFFTTT.......... forget about! After being there 8 months everyone got a 10% pay cut! It's insulting and sad!
Everyone was raving about the good paying Oil & Gas work that was coming to the area a few years back, when it first started up here. Which unfortunately increased the cost of living here substantially. Oil & Gas company's that come here just to pay lousy wage's screws the economy here.

    Advice to Management

    Pay your employees better!

I worked at Gibson Oilfield Services full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Nice Office and pretty girls to talk to in there.

    Cons

White, pretty, and able to sell yourself? Well, you will fit right in. The family is running the company and if you threaten any of them in any way you will be terminated. If there is a hot job and you are over hours on driving you better do the job and rig your books or you will soon be looking for work. Everyone is replaceable.

    Advice to Management

    Give disrespect, get disrespect

I have been working at Gibson Oilfield Services full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you work hard, we play harder! A Roustabout Company that cares about it's employees and customers. Striving to be the best at everything we do all the time.

    Cons

The only thing I found thus far is the normal stuff... egos, hens, and sometimes long hours.
