        Pros

        Working with the girls and volunteers.

        Cons

        "Shoot first, aim later' strategies. Lack of clear direction. Was laid off 9 months after I was hired due to severe budget issues. My position never should have filled in the first place, knowing the budget crisis they were facing.

        The mission: to build girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place. Along with the mission the organization provides a comprehensive benefits package.

        Cons

        The reward for good work is more work! There is an underlying feeling of guilt placed on those who choose to not work on holidays and weekends. Management rewards favorites. Favorites seem to be based on personal relationships and not professional performance. Human Resources is not supportive of workers. Workers who place complaints or seek support to resolve issues with managment are brushed off and sometimes retaliated...

        Advice to Management

        Support your workers! Human Resources should recieve a complete overhaul. What happens to all of those claims filed by workers agains problematic supervisors or unfair treatment?! A little appreciation and a lot of support go a very long way. There should be an advisory board consisting of staff from every department and position that can hear the complaints of staff and provide strong solutions and support for managers...
