    I have been working at Gladstone Institutes full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    The company has really smart people doing great science. It's a small, but growing, organization, so it feels like family. They offer great benefits, especially for a non-profit organization.

    Cons

    The leadership is very hierarchical, and there is a huge lack of transparency. The president doesn't know how to lead the organization, especially the administration. Employees don't feel valued, and there is no room to move up in the company.
