    Pros

I've been a member of the Glass Apps team for almost 9 years and it has been such an honor to be a part of the growth we have experienced during that time period. We have a phenomenal team in which EVERYONE strives to be their very best and provide the best quality finished product possible.

    Cons

    Pros

none, this place is a waste of your potential.

    Cons

you cross train with no wage increases, your pay is already low compared to other companies, there's lots of things that can go wrong with the product, The CEO has no idea what he's doing on the rare appearances he actually makes, no company structure, no care for employee health.

    Great company

    Pros

Glass Apps is a relatively small company with under 20 employees at the time of this review. They have a really cool product, that definitely has the "wow" factor when seen. Because of their size, they are more agile and can quickly make decisions for growth without being bogged down by the red-tape and approval processes of a corporate entity. I have found everyone to be kind, helpful and I enjoy working here at Glass Apps. One of the biggest "Pros" of being here is the massive potential that this company has. It's always great to be a part of a company that's growing.

    Cons

So far so Good. There are no "Cons" worth mentioning

Absolute worst work experience in my 16 yr career

    Pros

The people that work there are the only pro. They do a great job of getting the product out the door despite a broken production process.

    Cons

The CEO is hands down the biggest negative to the company. If you read the previous reviews, I can tell you things have not changed. He is still paranoid everyone is out to get him. He is still not engaged in the company's growth. He still doesn't trust anyone. He is and will be the sole reason for the company's failure. Here's why: His lack of trust won't allow him to take feedback from anyone within the organization. If it's not his idea, it's not a good idea. Yet he has no problem telling any one there that it is his company and he can run how he wants. The conflict comes when he complains about how many hours a day he has to work on the business. The problem is, no one knows what he's working on. He is not working on a marketing plan because there isn't one in place. He's not working on analytics of the company to see where the growth is at because there is no clear strategy or directive for the company. He is not working on promoting the company. I know this personally because I had scheduled meetings with architects that he would not attend on my behalf. What owner of a company says that to a sales rep? He has no problem telling people it's his company, but won't take an appointment to grow the company? Makes absolutely no sense at all. His paranoia has created such a massive lack of trust within the whole organization the sales team and the production bicker amongest themselves just to get deals done. It's a constent battle within to remain competitive in the market. His lack of leadership at every level has the whole team creates new challenges the team has to deal with on a daily basis. Not only is the comp plan heavily weight for the benefit of the company, the lack of marketing, strategy and clear leadership make it extremely difficult for the company to be competitive in the market overall. Making it extremely difficult for the sales reps to make sales.

    Pros

Monday through Friday. Potential salary increases vary by doing good work. Small competition allows for the company to shine for their product. Tons of potential to explode in the industry.

    Cons

Very inconsistent work flow. Upper management is either over involved or totally disconnected. Stressful work environment due to unclear guidelines as to how many employees are needed in what department. Strange culture throughout the company though some very skilled production workers and sales people are around. High turnover. Offices in salt lake, New York, and Columbia cause severe communication issues.
