    Pros

Excellent work life balance, great compensation, and top notch talent.

    Advice to Management

Let your Associates be leaders through your example not your direct involvement.

I have been working at GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare full-time

    Pros

Good pay, PTO, maternity leave is amazing!

    Cons

Micro-managed, disorganized, very stuck in their way. The over all company is trying to make good positive change, but our site is so resistant. No one is held accountable to do their jobs out side of a few departments.

    Advice to Management

Trust your employees to dig through the weeds and figure things out while you focus on other things. You are too far down in the weeds with us and you're stopping us from growing and being better employees. Hold people accountable!

    Pros

Pay very competitive, excellent benefits, good vacation and sick time

    Cons

Too much uncertainty about your future, will you have a job or won't you.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your people!! Especially those on the front lines, they see and know things that upper management is kept unaware of, on purpose. These are the same people that saw the shut down coming and spoke up but were dismissed.

    Cons

None, it a really great company to work for if you are selling to work and good at what you do. Company relocated to another state.

I worked at GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great benefits and potential for growth is there if you play the 'go-for' role. Sr. Leadership is all over the open environment setting, thus enhancing visibility for those that are proactive, ambitious and loud. Management is very hands off, but results-target oriented.

    Cons

Company is undergoing organizational right-sizing and re-structuring itself for a potential spin off from mother group. Too much hierarchy and central-shared functions makes it feel a bit stagnant and sloppy in checking priority to support critical process. Mentoring and coaching is almost null, you trace your own way.

    Advice to Management

get leaders touch base with a reality check on the floor shops and office needs
