    Pros

Lots of development opportunity. People are great to work with. Strong mentor-ship for young professionals.

Some processes tend to move slower since company is so large.

    Advice to Management

More diversity in management team would be better. Nice to see female CEO, a step in the right direction.

I have been working at GlaxoSmithKline full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good work environment, nice people, flexible working, good benefits. Bonuses can make a nice positive impact on the salary. Opportunity for lateral moves are sometimes possible.

    Cons

Constant organizational change leading to lack of instability, corporate bureaucracy can feel overwhelming. Annual bonuses is tied to a normal distribution curve; even if you have worked well and performed you can still technically have underperformed. This can be very demotivating and seems to run against the 'team' ethos most companies try to create.

    Pros

Continued development for employees that perform and manage up
Rewards consistent performance and pay for these employees is above average.
Benefits are some of the best in the industry (Health, 401K and Pension).

    Cons

Incentive Compensation Model does not always reward the employees producing the sales and helping patients.

    Advice to Management

    None.
