    Pros

    Collaboration of everyone and global site all striving towards, transparency, respect, integrity and patients focus. Benefits and opportunities to be made for everyone.

    Cons

    Shift work, long hours. Sometimes too many rules and regulations but that's all part of the pharmaceutical industry. Sometimes unable to switch off at the end of the day.

    good working environment, good work-life balance, good emphasis on personal development though opportunities for that are thin on the ground

    Cons

    Grade progression is very slow and hard beyond a certain point in scientific departments. Experience can vary widely from one department to another

    Bike shop, hair salon and convenience stood at the Brentford site

    Unreasonable level of control, supervision and
    Non negotiable attitude to ways of working
    A presumption of distrust regarding quality and approach to work

    Advice to Management

    If you employ professional contractors to carry out services at x hundred pounds per day, then please allow them to carry out thos serviced in the way they see fit.

    Don't treat contractors like employees and micro manage

    Integrate your teams better so the environment is less like working in a library and more like working for a vibrant FTSE 100 company which it is

    Only get promoted if people like you

    Nice culture, generally great people and a real focus on delivering benefits to patients wherever you work in the company.

    Cons

    Can do and continuous improvement culture sometimes loses direction and sometimes creates unnecessary internal workload and change that does not add value to the company.

    Very clear aims and objectives for individual employees, great structure for planned development

    Cons

    Some hugely inept middle management with shockingly poor people skills.

    Advice to Management

    Cut out the under performing middle management who add practically zero value in their role, except putting already extremely hard working analysts under more pressure
