I worked at Gleacher & Company full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Had a great fixed income team with good brokers and traders in a wide range of products. The investment bankers worked closely with the trading desks had a better handle of the market.

    Cons

We didn't have enough time to get traction to turn the company around. The investment banking/structuring group working within the fixed income desks had opportunities to close a few deals but more time would have been beneficial to all.

    Cons

lacks of clarity from senior management regarding firm future. Continue to run through issues regarding what business lines they want to focus on.
