I worked at Glencore for more than a year

    Pros

Compensation was fantastic for an intern Few needless meetings Interesting and technically challenging work Opportunity to work with some tremendously skilled people Surprising office diversity

    Cons

Glencore certainly has a reputation although you don't particularly get a feeling for it while working there. Not very much mentoring, interns were very much left alone to figure things out. While I did learn a lot from this, at times it made things needlessly difficult.
