    Pros

Teachers have a wide variety of resources to support them, and there is a lot of flexibility allowed for individual teaching styles.

    Cons

Not a lot of the teachers are interested in collaboration -- they're more focused on getting to retirement than on working with their teammates. Also, the HR director holds grudges and does not like to hire/retain employees whom she dislikes personally. Many lazy teachers are allowed to keep doing what they're doing without being pushed because they've been in district so long.

    Advice to Management

Push your employees to collaborate more! Teachers -- especially ones who have been there a long time -- need more accountability and more supervision.
