Management is absent, incompetent, more interested in protecting their own jobs than promoting talent. No loyalty whatsoever and little room for growth. Will be asked to look the other way on ethical/legal dilemmas.
Advice to Management
Reward talent and they will stay. Admit your mistakes on hiring incompetent middle management and move on rather than keeping them around, hoping they'll magically become competent. Also, stay legal. There's plenty of money to be made on the legal side, no need to risk being shut down for an extra couple of dollars.
