    Good Company to work for

    Pros

Good company culture, benefits scheme, incentives Some great people in the company Lots of money to be made if you are willing to work hard

    Cons

Training does fall down in this company if you don't have knowledge of recruitment already. You won't develop skills of a real recruiter here. ie candidate and client meetings At times people are held back for reasons that are unknown Management has no say as everything gets channeled back to the UK for approval which is annoying

    Pros

Staff events can be fun, trying to be more flexible to staff

    Cons

Management were chosen on billings and tenure, which doesn't mean they are good managers. These managers wont allow flexibility to staff despite reaping these benefits themselves. They can also be rude and nonprofessional but never see the consequences of this. Very clique, forced to attend training that is planned 5 minutes prior, wasteful of everyone's time.

    Pros

This is a brilliant company to work for as the people are really lovely, you can settle in really quickly and the commission structure is on of the best in the market. It is a really good location, near to a variety of restaurants and public transport.

    Cons

Like any companies, there are negatives however there are avenues where your concerns can be communicated and put into action to improve the company.

Listen to the unfavourable reviews - you really can do better.

    Pros

Nice office Beers on Fridays Great incentive trip

    Cons

Just shift filling - you are simply trying to ensure doctors are compliant and fill available shifts. This role does not make you a 360 recruiter and you won't enjoy this role if you are one already. Poor culture - the 'don't be the first to leave' and 'we don't go home until the manager goes home' nonsense culture - this doesn't breed competent consultants. Poor engagement tactics pushed - tasked with calling up hospitals under a fake guise to speak to working doctors about signing up as locums. Expectations in first 3-6 months are unreasonable - your work or efforts are not recognised unless you're making money, even though this is not easily achievable in the probation period. As one other ex-employee has stated, big mean girls environment - whispers, giggles, everything you would expect from school playground behaviour, particularly from the girls who have been there for some time. Sadly they are becoming known for it as an agency in the sector.

    You get what you deserve

    Pros

After working in a number of agencies prior to Global Medics, this is one company where you get what you deserve, put in the work and be successful and you will be bloody well rewarded... don't and you won't, simple as that

    Cons

Massive pressure, a long with the usual recruitment pressures, supplying medical doctors brings a unique pressure coming from clients. This is a 24/7 job, so very difficult to switch off.

    - Great Client Base and Candidate Base - Good market to work within - Generous Bonus Scheme - Structured Career Path - Work Hard Play Hard Ethic - Opportunities to work overseas - Friendly, buzzy environment - For myself personally, and many others across the office, this company has developed me immensely as a recruiter and continues to get the best out of people

    Cons

    - more focus on back to front integration
