I have been working at Global Partners full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Competitive wages and benefits, decent company perks. High volume and fast-
paced for those that like this type of work environment.

    Cons

departments are held to different levels of accountability, "blame-game" cycle, no culture, lack of communication, minimal growth opportunities, zero training

    Advice to Management

focus on company vision , build culture - this starts with senior leadership - act accordingly. When it come to feedback - listen to the opinions and new ideas of the talent your are bringing it - it is what you hired them for!

    Advice to Management

be open to suggestions and listen to people that have been there for long periods of time. HR support of employees, not management. Need to form workers union.

I worked at Global Partners part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I gained a lot of useful skills while in this position. The department as a whole was friendly, nice and always tried to help me out with new things. The work wasn't too challenging, and I felt that I could always ask for help if I needed it. It was a really great learning environment.

    Cons

No real cons, I would highly recommend.

    Pros

At our terminal we weren't micro managed by corporate which allowed us to do our jobs and get stuff done.

    Cons

The company is a decade behind in the HR and IT departments. They don't understand how jobs work outside of the office and its a struggle to get anything simple done like getting reimbursed for travel and expencies.

    Advice to Management

The thing you need to work on as of right now is your HR and IT departments.
