Collaborative environment. Great benefits package. Flexible work schedule. Incredible work-Life balance. Diversified through business units and agencies. I work with a great bunch of professionals that understand business and family and work to achieve the best of both worlds.
As a recruiter, with an OPs and BD background I find that I encounter self induced stress in order to meet deadlines. Proposals can be tedious if you don't have the right managers, but we are able to handle multiple proposals and deadlines.
Very responsive Mentor-Protégé Program.
The Program manager was very helpful to me and always gave me 360-feedback.
GRS has a positive workplace environment and everyone is willing to help you and see you succeed.
This is a great company to intern for and I would recommend this company!
I have been working at Global Resource Solutions full-time
Collaboration - Not just encouraged, expected. Our senior management, and corporate executives want everyone involved in the process, from soup to nuts.
Family - Working at GRS makes you feel like a part of the family. They are always there for you, and we look out for each other with new opportunities and suggestions.
I have not had any issues with working at GRS. It is a growing company and I feel very much a part of the team.

TRY to keep their employees as informed as possible as to the status of gov't contracts and future opportunities
Flexible with their hours/com-time
Not quite as understanding of Military sacrifices- meaning one of the few companies that do not do military pay differential.... because of the disparity of mil pay vs average salary. They do however allow you to make up hours before and after to try to compensate- as allowable by the contract.
Advice to Management
see cons... understand- it isn't like serving our country and state is vacation... we should not suffer economically in order to serve.
Flexibility, open communications, opportunities to participate in various projects and initiatives, ambitious, unique market positions and business relationships; work/life balance
Limited opportunity for advancement due to size and compartmented nature of company; bi-coastal nature of company sometimes results in ineffective communications with office/support staff
Minority owned and operated
Poor benefits package
management is cliquish (play favorites)
deceptive wrt to practices
bad pay cycles
never get to meet managers/president/COO
Advice to Management
Listen to what your employees have to say. Act in a professional manner. visit your employees at their client sites- dont just forget about them.
