I worked at Global Travel International

    Pros

20 words? Really? Well I guess a couple good pro comments is that the people are nice and location is ok.

    Cons

Well, EVERYTHING else..... From top bottom, lack of process, lack of organization, micromanagement is an understatement, no room for growth, no respect, I honestly feel bad for most genuine people who work there.

    Advice to Management

They don't need advice, at this point, they are a lost cause. They have been the same way for years. Nothing can help them... My advise to the users of GD... Stay away. don't even apply.

I worked at Global Travel International full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    small, nice office in maitland.

    Cons

the VRBO program is little more than bait-and-switch. we are listing hotels at prices that are not updated live so you're dealing with irate customers who - SHOCKINGLY- aren't happy that the price of their room has doubled. management usually hides in the back. you'll see the CEO only when numbers are tanking and he runs around like a headless chicken. or worse, he'll try to take over your call. no, really. others will...

I worked at Global Travel International

    Pros

Nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing

    Cons

Global Travel International has to be the biggest joke known to man. I was hired and required to train myself on the different vendors, which is fine but according to the training schedule they provided me, I was supposed to be done with all that after the 2nd week. On week 3, I practically begged two upper managers to allow me to listen to a senior agent's calls for pointers and system training. Neither 2 "managers"...

I worked at Global Travel International full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

My immediate superior and a wonderful co-worker. I learned so much from both of them during my time there and truly value the work we accomplished together. Unfortunately, they are not valued enough by the company as a whole. If their hard work and dedication was realized, valued and appreciated, the overall company would benefit tremendously.

    Cons

If you are out there reviewing this company as a potential place of employment, I'll offer this bit of advice: Seek employment elsewhere. With so many companies available in the Orlando area, there is no reason to select this one. Your work will not be valued nor appreciated. You will be expected to work anytime the company expects you to (Holidays, weekends, evening, PTO time, etc.) but they will not provide adequate...

    Advice to Management

Start valuing your employees. They deserve appreciation for their hard work, instead of being constantly made to feel like they are not working hard enough or doing their jobs. The company is abusive to its staff, there's no other way to put it.

    Cons

The work load can seem overwhelming but with the reasonable expectations for project completions, it remains managable
