I worked at GoHealth Urgent Care full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Steady hours, overtime is available due to employee shortage. Easy to get hired if you’re a new tech.

    Cons

Upper management cares only about profit vs employee work conditions and quality of patient care. The X-ray tech works alone with a provider, so you’re expected to be the receptionist, medical assistant and X-ray tech at once. Because of this, you aren’t able to take a lunch or break if you want to keep patients happy and the flow going. Management tells you to have provider tell waiting patients that they have to... wait 30 minutes till the X-ray tech is done with lunch. When you have a problem or have a grievance, your emails go unanswered, even when you cc the CEO.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees when they offer constructive criticism. Have someone in upper management that’s had hands on patient experience. Quit scheduling only a support staff and a provider to work at a clinic. That 2nd support staff would allow employees to take their legally mandated breaks you keep saying the employees need to take. Pay your providers better.

I worked at GoHealth Urgent Care full-time for less than a year

    Pros

PTO and some of the benefits were the only good thing this place had to offer.

    Cons

Upper management are full of lies. Too many broken promises. If you don't kiss butt then your not part of the team. Some of the providers are too into themselves. There is no patient care no fairness to employees and RMA's get low ball pay of 12.00

    Advice to Management

Stick to your word. Don't lie and pay your MA's better money. RT's get great pay for what..sitting on there butts and not knowing what to do

I worked at GoHealth Urgent Care full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Facilities are nice and clean. Job isn't bad if working at a site with a good team, but that's like any job

    Cons

    Too much micromanagement of employees

    Advice to Management

Too much micromanagement of employees. As an X-ray tech, expect for them to add many more responsibilities on top of that which you will not be compensated for
