I worked at GoWireless full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Managers start at $15 (higher w/ experience) an hour plus overtime. I worked 50 - 60 hours a week. It was needed but nice to be paid for it.

    Cons

If you have a big year then the next year they pay $0 for the same results. I averaged $4000 commission. The next year same results were $800.

    Advice to Management

Don't change the commission structure just because we over achieved the previous year.

    Pros

Been with the company for a long time and have been overall happy with the experience. Would recommend to friends and family.

    Cons

Unfortunately I'll find it tough to write a bunch about cons. Honestly for me, being around for as long as I have I dont have time to complain with a good company.

    Pros

Pay is good, great enviorment in store

    Cons

Upper management does not care about lower level employees. HR does not return calls or value cases.

    Advice to Management

Start paying attention to those that work in the lower level of your company, and start returning phone calls

    Pros

The best thing about GoWireless is the people I work with every day. I work in an environment where learning and growing as a person and employee is encouraged. I think GoWireless invests in their employees and is always looking internally for candidates prior to looking externally.

    Cons

Not a fan that we don't accrue PTO while on PTO.

I worked at GoWireless full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Decent entry into wireless sales.

    Cons

No growth opportunities based off performance. Unprofessional managment and unreasonable sales goals. Store locations play a major role yet goal requirements are not based on such. i.e. "retirement age/senior citizens" typically do not seek high end smart phones with all the bells and whistles.

    Advice to Management

Changing the structure of store sales requirements based of geographical location and patron needs would increase overall success.

Opportunities for driven employees to grow rather than advancing "friends" with sub-par sales stats.

    Pros

Training department is very focused on associate development. I have never had an issue that went unresolved from any department. Great benefits available as well.

    Cons

It does take time to learn to do things properly, but there are a lot of parts to all the jobs here. You have to be patient and open to learning and doing new things to get better and be successful.
