Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookNo opinion of CEOI worked at Golden Charter full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
Improved benefits in the last few years
Cons
All about the egos and jostling for position in the very top-heavy management structure. Investment in their people is less important than making sure the top brass all get their bonuses. If your face doesn't fit here you have no chance of being treated well.

RecommendsPositive OutlookNo opinion of CEOI have been working at Golden Charter full-time for more than a year
Pros
There are a lot of opportunities to develop internally. Many roles are filled by people moving between departments, some permanent and some secondments. There is so much going on just now that most people are involved in or know about a project that is current. Company likes to try and do things properly, but can sometimes over complicate things. The benefits package is on a par with most other companies - salaries are at a good level compared to the market, holidays are decent (and you can buy more if you want them), maternity package is excellent and lots of people seem to work flexibly.
Cons
Seem to be trying to achieve too much all at once - might be better to focus on a couple of projects at a time. Senior management sometimes too involved in the day to day Sometimes try too hard to impose big multinational company design or activities onto our wee company. Need to be better at taking the principles but adjusting them to our size. Need to be better at holding people to account.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookNo opinion of CEOI worked at Golden Charter full-time for more than 5 years
Pros
Some really good people work there
Cons
Cult of the personality makes it very difficult to drive effective change for the betterment of the business rather than so people can claim bragging rights

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookNo opinion of CEOI worked at Golden Charter full-time for more than 5 years
Pros
Pay was good, not sure what else
Cons
I worked here for 5 years and there was weird atmosphere to the place. Senior managers and directors act and talk as if they are selling some righteous product, which is weird for a company that was making us cold-call old and vulnerable people to con them out of money not that long ago. I would forget about job security too. Over the years there have been so many changes and people losing jobs just because managers want to try something different. and don't bother complaining to HR about it, they will be right by the manager supporting them.

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookNo opinion of CEOI worked at Golden Charter full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
Decent parking, reasonable work load and tasks.
Cons
Toxic culture, long term employees are all too eager to throw you under the bus. You're constantly dealing with outside marketing agents and the in-home agents targeting and taking advantage of the most vulnerable people in society to milk them of cash they don't have. Hostility between all the operational teams is rampant, and attempting to build working relationships inter-departmentally is discouraged.

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at Golden Charter part-time
Pros
Daily bashing of computer hardware made was super-helpful Cliquey behavior of colleagues made it really easy to settle in The way senior management never introduced themselves to new staff made it a harmonious atmosphere Having no formal training made it easy to hit the ground running
Cons
One nice member of staff per department, exception of IT, a few nice guys there.
