    Great company

    Pros

Challenging environment with engaged upper management. Great brand with high expectations of performance from guests.

    Cons

Hours are long with a culture of 24/7/365 expected of all employees. Burnout is significant threat.

Small benefits to stay compared to major casinos.

    Pros

I'm allowed to work how I want, no one bothers me, and I'm kept busy.

    Cons

Lots of lies from HR when you start working. Guy who did orientation bragged about the EDR, but when confronted that is was extremely small and subpar he suddenly switched tones and said its due to financial issues, even though they just told us that the CEO spent tens of millions of dollars completely refurnishing the meeting rooms(Where you're not allowed to be). They'll tell you that you have to pay for parking somewhere because they don't have space for an employee parking garage, but the busted up lot I've been parking in for months is suddenly for guests only? So they own a big lot, but won't build a garage for employees? Must be more financial issues. Employees are not allowed to use the pool unless they buy a hotel room. Reason for that? Because they have around 4000 employees and if everyone goes at the same time it would be overcrowded. Oh and to get that hotel room at a discount you have to sign up and pay a monthly fee for their discount program. Which isn't bad if you like to eat at Claim Jumper a lot. And ignore all the discounts on the employee website, those are for Landry employees.

    Pros

It's a fun environment to work in and the staff and guests are one of a kind. One of the best properties to work for in Downtown Las Vegas.

    Cons

There is no employee parking. It can be really nerve racking trying to find parking and have to pay to come to work at other locations. I believe that this is the only property downtown with this issue.

    Pros

Only good thing is the $

    Cons

Worst management staff from the Director on down , they have no heart and talk to you any kind of way and if the guests win $ they get extremely upset with you like it’s their $ . If the player is a high roller they can curse you out , call you out your name and belittle you . You will work every weekend and every holiday and won’t have a life .

    Pros

Good pay for region, beautiful spa, friendly staff

    Cons

Worked in the spa. Upper management was constantly disrespecting staff and my manager. Management never appeared to be on the same page regarding policies and protocol and took their frustrations out on staff, even yelling at them in front of guests. Providers were not adequately trained on protocol prior to beginning work. Spa was constantly out of products required to perform treatments and providers were often shortchanging customers as a result. ALWAYS had to keep up with my paycheck BC payroll often forget to include commission on sales or somehow managed to under pay providers. One of my coworkers had her car towed off a parking garage roof to make room for Tilman Fertitta's helicopter landing. No one had bothered to inform her, so she thought her car had been stolen until it was found parked on another parking level.

    Pros

The people you work with co worker wise are like family.

    Cons

The guests that the casino receives are soo rude to workers. Management i always trying to change things up and they go through directors very quickly there. The pay if pretty low but high for a casino in downtown. Health insurance and vision barely cover anything and the co pays are high. Not soo great.
