I worked at Goldman Sachs full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Smart people, dedicated, motivated, decent pay, good benefits. Teamwork an important and continuing ethic that keeps the place together for now.

    Cons

Long hours, too much office politics, no loyalty to employees, starting to underpay vs peers. Senior management complacent and have been in site for too long now.

    Advice to Management

GS has lost its identity. We were the best, we now just follow and follow badly. Some bad recent senior hires have had a significant downturn on morale.

I worked at Goldman Sachs full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It opens a lot of opportunities to grow and build a better reputation for yourself and the company. The starting salary is great and the working environment only adds to the rewarding experience of working there.

    Cons

Long working hours at the start within a competitive environment. Getting the job is the most difficult and you would need excellent grades to stand out.

    Advice to Management

Opportunities to work from home when needed by employee.
