    Pros

Great working experience. The people you work with make the job enjoyable. Great work policy.

    Cons

    Not great work life balance.

    Advice to Management

The compensation was extremely poor regardless GOOD personal performance. With so much work to do, managers need to keep their employees motivated by compensating better given the amount of work.

I have been working at Goldman Sachs full-time

    Pros

Surrounded by intelligent, hard-working and motivated people. Onsite facilities are great: gym, doctor, dentist, physio, etc.

    Cons

Comp at the end of the year doesn't always match expectations, and can be frustrating that it's never transparent how it is calculated and how you are ranked versus peers.

I worked at Goldman Sachs as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

The internship was very well put together, mainly comprising talks in the first week but with more freedom in the second for working on the group project and networking with employees. The shadowing gave a good overview of the work being done and was a useful opportunity to engage with the employees on the work they do. I met some great people there, and it is a fantastic environment for pushing yourself to do great things. Being put up in a hotel for 2 weeks was a bonus too!

    Cons

The lack of computers available to the interns was often frustrating and the canteen was pretty expensive.

I worked at Goldman Sachs as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great people - some of the smartest and most impressive people I have ever worked with. Great feeling of the company, you really feel that you are part of something.

    Cons

Working hours are really bad and senior people do sometimes not have any respect for your time etc. Tasks are sometimes not very intelligent and you are doing a lot of grunt work.
