I worked at Golub full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Some people are great to work with. If you know, or are related to someone, it can be easy to advance.

    Cons

Unless you are related to someone or know someone, it is almost impossible to get ahead in this company. Director level + gets bonuses, while they cut the healthcare and perks for everyone else. The morale is almost nonexistent most days. The company has ZERO transparency, leaving everyone wondering what is going on. Management constantly reminds everyone they are easily replaceable, and even HR has said you better do what your manager tells you too and hinted that failure to follow unfair/discriminatory demands will result in you being laid off. This was once such a great company to work for, and now it is a nightmare.

    Advice to Management

Remember that you need your workers, otherwise the company could not run. Stop all of the nepotism and cronyism. Eliminate the toxic management. Be more upfront with your workers on what is happening within the company.

I worked at Golub part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Lots of opportunity for overtime and good benefits if you get full time. High focus on safety standards from management.

    Cons

Hard work, fast paced, and long days. Not much opportunity for advancement until you have been there a few years at least.

    Advice to Management

Management is generally good, could be better about not wasting money leaving everyone clocked in for a full day on lighter days

  9. "Ok"

    I worked at Golub full-time

    Pros

Decent benefits. Good cafe in headquarters. Nice office building. Job postings usually get posted internally first before going to the outside.

    Cons

Recent benefit changes were communicated poorly especially with high deductible plan. Job postings have been fewer than in the past due to eliminating jobs and increasing pressure on remaining employees to do the work of multiple positions.

    Advice to Management

Let internal candidates negotiate salary. Re-evaluate job descriptions and make the titles more accurate. Be truthful in minimum requirements for job postings.

I have been working at Golub full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I could right 20 words but they would be all lies like what the bosses do to us ever day.

    Cons

Lets see to start with cost of living rasies havent come close to the minimum in 20 years if you have that kind of time with this company they look for reasons to get rid of you because you are a liability to them because of the time off we get and I could go on and on

    Advice to Management

    Find a new profession !
