I worked at Gonzales Consulting Services full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It's a pay check and experience

    Cons

Feels like your constantly under a microscope

    Advice to Management

The trainer was a joke and her program. The dispatchers do the supervisors work. The supervisors document EVERYTHING the dispatchers do. The turn over rate is huge, because no one listens to what makes the dispatchers happy. With upper management, the power has gone to their heads. There is no one to go to with issues. Scheduling is a joke, at times there is nowhere for people to sit. They need to take a look at what they are doing with the schedule. No cell phones and no food are allowed in dispatch. No CAD and horrible radios, so hopefully you can hear officers or you will be dinged on your QA. A lot of redundancy on the work you do, it's such a waste of time and efforts. They need a reality check.

I worked at Gonzales Consulting Services full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good pay, good people to work with.

    Cons

Pay for PTO. Benefits for lower employees are expensive. No places to advance. Training program is not quality for the type of work required. The work is stressful but the lack of support from management makes it unbarable some days. Complaints to HR go unnoticed, all in all not a good place to be.

    Advice to Management

Learn to be kinder to your employees and quit playing favorites!

    Pros

The co-workers are nice, the activities at work are interesting. The pay is good, not enought to shovel the crap.

    Cons

Government workers are corrupt, contractors are corrupt, unless you want to play the kiss butt game, DAILY, you won't go far. Please don't apply if you're a minority because you will be on the radar of difference and bad conduct for breathing too loud.

    Advice to Management

Remember you were once new too and if you can't remember that. Remember you will die some day.
