    Pros

    * Super healthy food for team members * Lots of standing around and getting paid for little work if you are on the day shift

    Cons

Communication * Horrible communication across shifts. They only time one shift talks to another is when things go absolutely wrong. * Lots of offsite and work from home individuals make all decisions without understanding the impact on the team actually working within the four walls. * Plans(if that is what you call it) are developed during the dayshift and adherence is expected across shift with no cross communication. It is very common for a non dayshift manager to be informed of changes and new initiatives by associates on the floor, and they are ill equipped then to have those conversations. Staffing * Extremely top heavy. More than 60% of the total building volume is done at night, but the dayshift is grossly overstaffed 2 to 1. If hired for the night shift, be prepared to work hard. Leadership Development * Does not exist * No one on one, no interface with senior leadership as they all work M-F 8-5, and only show up when things are going absolutely wrong * No formal training documents. A lot of training is just word of mouth and the individual is sent out to the warehouse completely unprepared for the challenges. Team member-Centric * NOT - roles are cut and individuals terminated with absolutely no notice. You just show up and cannot punch in. Both team members and leadership are terminated without dignity. They allow the individual to show up, work for the shift, and walk them out at the end of the shift Safety * Very unsafe facility with no control measures on who can gain access to the facility. The dock doors are always propped open so any person can walk into the facility. The security up front is just there for show * Theft is high because there is no monitoring and long tenured team members know this. * No formal power equipment training, so the operators are driving on luck and prayer * All injuries are accommodated. If injured, regardless of severity, be prepared to show up and just sit there unproductively not having the chance to rest and recover at home, meanwhile, the managers are asked to manage productivity of which the metrics are not even adhered to. The night associate by far outperforms the day associates, and that is a direct indictment on the day leadership team. * Covid compliance is a joke. Not a single person in the office area wears masks, but the associates who do the hard work in the warehouse are all required to, and the office and warehouse may as well be 2 different countries because the office team believe the team members work for them versus the other way around. Associates make the company and not the office staff Diversity * Non existent. Lots of white faces making poor business decisions. Even the black managers they hire are more like "fall guys" so someone can take the blame for poor decisions made at the senior leadership level. Senior Leadership * Has no concept of people leadership and no idea of what long term planning looks like. They keep using old agendas and playbooks in an ever changing market and shocked why they get the same results from years ago. Inventory * Good luck. Some many items have been systematically moved to lost locations by the Inventory team, who did not physical get their eyes on the item, so there is thousands of dollars of lost revenue daily. Promotions * Not earned. it's who likes you and who's butt you are kissing. Not merit based at all.
