I have been working at Goodman Manufacturing full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Pay, commute, not much else.

    Cons

Very low morale among employees and managers. Promotion of VP and Director level management who should not be managing people is rampant. HR is complicit in helping smooth over and ignore unacceptable behavior, conversations, and bullying by Director and VP level employees. Traditional HR complaints are treated as normal business in the Goodman culture.

    Advice to Management

Stop promoting bad managers, and hire some outside people to refresh morale.

I worked at Goodman Manufacturing as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Weekly pay check, 7 minute commute from previous address and mandatory OT if you don't mind burn-out, not married and no kids and have no life in general.

    Cons

Horrible, indifferent management and Corestaff management even worse. NO COMMUNICATION. Management and supervisors are arrogant, rude and condescending. Questionable labor law practicing that Goodman squeaks by on (two 10 minute breaks and a 30 minute lunch a joke when you work 10 hours a day, 6 days a week at $9 an hour. It takes 5 minutes alone to get to a break area!) If anyone from the Department of Labor comes across this, I urge you to conduct an investigation. This is legalized slave labor. Goodman is also subjecting its workers to various pollutants such as cement truck engines running indoors for at least an hour. I cannot believe Goodman is getting away with what they are.

    Advice to Management

My newly built home came with a Goodman unit. When it dies, I now know to avoid any Goodman, Daiken or Amana product ever again. If enough people come forward and boycott the product, only then does change come about. Companies only respond to change when it affects its revenue.

    Pros

    You get paid every week.

    Cons

Very hot, it's like it's a slave shop. Working real hard for only 9 dollars. And if your a woman working in there, men will look at u like a piece of meat. And the managers & supervisor talk to like u are a kid.

    - Horrible, HORRIBLE bathrooms

    - NO future
    - No investment in employees
    - Favoritism
    - A culture divide between warehouse life and office life, warehouse treated like some sweatshop
    - No AC in the warehouse

    Advice to Management

You need to actually CARE about employees. Double standard for temps and perms should be avoided. Clean the warehouse, it is a throwback to the 50s.

I worked at Goodman Manufacturing full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Warehouse worker, Orlando Distribution Center. Corporate structure is there. If that is a pro. Competitive pay, always over time available.

    Cons

Safety of warehouse workers is the lowest priority. Absolutely no fans for circulation in warehouse, gets up 110 degrees on some days. Somebody is going to get hurt sooner or later and it will be at the hands of management. Slow moving growth, irresponsible day to day business practices.

    Advice to Management

Get some people with integrity and actual experience running operations and you may be able to turn this around
