    I have been working at Goodwill full-time

    Pros

    Non profit. Fast paced. Different experience each day. Opportunities for advancement. Fair pay. Health benefits. Better than most retail jobs

    Cons

    It is retail, so there are some closing shifts required. Weekends are also required but usually only every other.

    Advice to Management

    Management needs to increase communication within teams. Hiring management should be based more on experience than education. Too many college kids with no experience are getting positions

    Pros

    The pay and benefits are decent enough
    the quotas are a little high, but easy to meet without any distractions
    8.25 base pay, $10 in warehouse after 90 days and $9.50 in storefront after 90 days for full time only.
    The environment is friendly and the people are great to work with

    Cons

    Management changes often
    Power obsession is a common problem with managers and workers
    The store is disorganized

    Working with people. Learning new skills to help further career.

    Cons

    No pay incentives. No raises unless you are promoted. Pay rate is mot equal to the amount of work given.

    Incentives and recognition for employees would go a long way to help overall morale and employee turnover

    Opportunity for advancement, get to know a lot of people, fun environment, lots of internal jobs, performance based raises

    High turn over, customers often are inconsiderate of the environment because it's a second hand store

    You are only allowed to shop once a month if you are an employee.
