I have been working at Google as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

People are excellent and helpful. The culture is very friendly to geeks. Lots of delicious snakes and drinks.

    Cons

People are too excellent that you may feel pressure, have to make yourself work hard and do smart.

    Advice to Management

The length of hiring period will be very good if it could be shorter. Sometimes you have to give up other offers before google sends you a feedback.

    Cons

Future is more unpredictable when you work as a freelancer. You will have to figure out most of the things by yourself which is tiresome at times.

    Pros

Working in a very chill workplace, you have plenty of free food provided, the manager is so easy going and beautiful

Its a routine job, you basically have to do the same tasks every single day which is kinda boring and not challenging enough

    Advice to Management

The overall task was fun, but task should be more challenging since you just have to think the inside the given frame.

I worked at Google as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

    1. Great opportunity to get in touch with the advanced framework and techniques
    2. Great place for learning new skills
    3. People are all nice

    Cons

    1. The work done at Google for an intern or a low level SDE seems too "normal" in some teams, i.e. it doesn't make much impact, and it seems that it can be done by anyone with basic programming skills.
    2. The work done at Google uses a lot of it's own framework (though it is very advanced), which is inaccessible outside. It makes it difficult to directly adapt the skills learned from Google to another place.

    Advice to Management

The recruiting process is too slow, it seems there are all always reasons to postpone the HC(Hiring Committee) meetings.

    Negative Outlook

I have been working at Google full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It's in the power sector. So the salary is not bad.

    Cons

Everything you do has to be under strict scrutiny of your superviser and has to gain his approval. Not much space for your self to call the shot and learn from failure. Bad motivation mechanism.

    Advice to Management

Better motivation mechanism. Those who work harder should be duely rewarded.
