I have been working at Google full-time for more than a year

    Pros

All the perks of Google -- great benefits, free food, smart people, great tech, lots of resources, etc.

    Cons

Google Cloud management is creating the same authoritarian, highly political, uncaring culture that is common at many other companies. Work/life balance is nearly non-existent and, as a result, there are increasing levels of burnout within the organization. Recognition/reward for the high amount of effort employees are putting in is terribly out of alignment. The majority of the sales force doesn't hit quota as targets are set by those in the bubble of Silicon Valley who don't understand the difference between Cloud-native organizations and Fortune 500 enterprises. Opportunities for advancement are minimal as these positions are typically being filled from the outside including a healthy proportion of insiders bringing in their former peers while overlooking those who have worked hard and sacrificed for years.

I worked at Google for less than a year

    Pros

They literally give you everything to succeed both as an employee and an intern, I do feel like I made more life-long friends at Google within 10 months than I ever made in Highschool.

    Cons

I didn't feel like there was anything that limited my ability to talk to my coworkers, everyone was on task and strived towards the same goal.

I have been working at Google

    Pros

They are very concerned with the happiness of their employees. We are treated well and the perks are phenomenal. This is one of the pinnacles for where geeks want to work. The work environment is condusive to working and staying engaged in the projects you are working on. They make sure you have the tools that you need to get your work done. They move VERY fast to get things done. They do a lot of great work with charities and the communities where their offices are. They truly live by their motto, "Don't be evil."

    Cons

Sometimes there is too much work to be done. It would be nice to have some breathing room to be able to do side projects, etc. Sometimes I feel a little lost in the large company.
