I worked at Google as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Google is an incredible company to work at. They really focus on having a manageable work-life balance for each and every one of their employees.

    Cons

I think the only con would be that the office is still relatively small compared to other Google offices.

    Advice to Management

Great experience for a BOLD Intern to do the exact work as a full time employee.

I worked at Google as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

You are given a lot of freedom over the work you do as an intern. I was given one main project to work on when I entered the role, but was able to branch out into additional types of work as well as the internship went on.

    Cons

You don't have much say over the team and role you are placed into. Also, you do not know much about what your role entails until you actually arrive. Google is can be very secretive.

    Advice to Management

More transparency before the internship begins.

I worked at Google as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

I was interning in Google New York office. The food there is really nice. The environment is also pretty friendly. You can also explore New York City with google employee benefits, like free/discounted museum tickets.

    Cons

The space is a little bit small. And there is no gym in the building. The number of conference rooms is not enough that we have to go to a far-away room to hold the meeting.

    Advice to Management

The management is very good, organized, and it is very convenient to talk to co-workers. The advise is to establish a gym in the building and have more small conference rooms.

I worked at Google (Less than a year)

    Pros

Opportunities to work with brilliant minds. Team full of impeccable role models. Surrounded by ego-less, skilled professionals who also know how to have fun! All the famous perks.

    Cons

Nothing that I think would be standard across many people's experiences. I wasn't a fan of MTV and found the entire Bay Area dreadful. Being one of the few interns in my building and the only intern on my team, I had some trouble finding other interns to bond with.
