    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Gould Evans full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great work culture and atmosphere, decent responsibilities and challenges. Very comfortable place to work and willing to accommodate work-life issues.

    Cons

Leadership play it too safe and aren't even willing to present forward-thinking designs to the client and go straight to the watered-down version. Bordering on the line of commodity architecture.

I have been working at Gould Evans full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

genuine/honest/well meaning staff, flexible schedules, slightly above average pay if you can negotiate, relative work/life balance, some great designers/thinkers on staff, better hiring in recent years

    Cons

conservative, lack of communication both up the chain and down, poor selection / management of clients, an uninspiring air of complacency can be felt at times

    Advice to Management

communicate better with you staff - they can tell you how to improve your business better than a consultant can, rid yourself of the corporate architecture tropes - you're still small enough to be nimble

I worked at Gould Evans (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great place to work and to grow professionally. The people are nice and always willing to share their knowledge and help you in any way they can.

    Cons

Salary is low, trained the people you have, don't bringing someone from outside when you have people that can do the work.

    Advice to Management

Take care of the people you have.
