    Pros

Gain many experiences through different components of multiple systems. Best learning of soft and hard skills. Readily embrace open source software and increasingly adopt cloud computing,

    Cons

business processes sometimes are annoyed. Budgeting regarding projects. Little money for the real maintenance and compressed development time. Fighting and biting is a must.

    Advice to Management

Budget always the highest priority however saving money sometimes can cause the projects unsuccessfully semi-delivered and high maintenance in later time. Make more money come to the real development. Be open minded technology-wise not just manager-wise.

    Pros

The possibilities to move internally are generally high and training budgets are unlimited

    Cons

Being government, there is no real meritocracy you can work your self hard but no one seems to notice.

    Advice to Management

Need to get with the real world - you will never solve attrition problems until you break with the civil service menality..
