I have been working at Government of Alberta full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Excellent place to spend last 20 years of your work life (50-70). A good place to work if you are raising lots of kids (at home).

    Cons

Not a place for young workers who want to learn and move fast in their career. Growth is very slow, and you have to be lucky or be in the right place at the right time.

    Advice to Management

Stop being so crappy, and get rid of retirees clogging the system. Start using some technology.
